The Nike Air Jordan 2 Low Returns to “Chicago” on 11 October
For the first time since 2016.
[Update 26 Sep 2023] The Nike Air Jordan 2 Low “Chicago” returns! In just a few weeks, you’ll be able to get your hands on the pair. Keep a lookout for them on 11 October on Nike SNKRS. Just set aside US$150.
With the amount of Nike Air Jordan 2 releases coming our way this year, one might not have guessed that the silhouette was once considered “cursed”. After a long hiatus from the Jumpman Brand’s lineup, the Air Jordan 2 received some big love in the form of a collaboration with Virgil Abloh’s Off-White, bringing to life the “Black and Varsity Royal” and “White and Varsity Red” pairs back in 2021.
Since then, Jordan has not let their foot off the gas with a wide array of Air Jordan 2 releases. After a highly successful 2022 which saw the likes of Union LA and A Ma Maniere working on the resurging silhouette, 2023 has since welcomed the arrival of numerous new colorways.
Joining the lineup is this upcoming Air Jordan 2 Low, dressed in the Jumpman’s most iconic coat of arms—the “Chicago”.
While there’s no images of the forthcoming retro currently available, you can expect this upcoming women’s exclusive silhouette to bear the Windy City’s color blocking, akin to its predecessor that was last available in 2016.
According to @soleretriever, hints of in-vogue sail/coconut milk is expected to accentuate the legendary colorway, offering a slight deviation from its previous iteration. While no images are currently available for the forthcoming pair, the account suggests that the aged accents might appear on the heel wrap and outsole.
It’s definitely and exciting time if you’re a fan of the recently-revived silhouette. Also scheduled to be part of the already jam-packed Holiday 2023 Season, expect to see this Nike Air Jordan 2 Low WMNS “Chicago” to hit Nike’s stores at a RRP of US$150. Stay tuned for more information as we’ll bring you the latest as soon we get them.
