First Look: JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 “Chocolate Brown”
You can never go wrong with these.
[Update 23 Nov 2022] JJJJound x New Balance has formally introduced its upcoming collaboration on the 990v3, dubbed “Montréal”. This most recent version features a brown top, honoring the reflection of the city as a whole and reflecting the tones that are present in both its streets and buildings.
These will only be made available to customers in Montréal through the new JJJJound installation on 25 November at 12 p.m. (EST).
JJJJound and New Balance are a favorite duo by many, especially the minimalists at heart. With previous collaboration such as the 990v3 “Black/Brown” and recent leaks of the 991 “Grey”, the duo always manages to captivate the public with the use of timeless designs and colorways.
This time, images of a new colorway of the 990v3 were teased on the Canadian label’s Instagram, hinting an upcoming release this season with the caption “JJJJ NB FW22”. A soft fall-inspired rendition of the silhouette is offered through a chocolate brown based upper, with a dark shade of olive filled on the side ’N’ logos.
Adding contrast to the overall earth tone aesthetics, the shoe tongues and heel tabs features a metallic silver tone while the shoelaces and midsoles comes in a classic white/cream finish. Providing the best of comfort and support with New Balance’s ENCAP technology, JJJJound adds a simple touch to details with co-branded insoles.
No release details are confirmed yet, but do stay tuned for more updates for the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 “Chocolate Brown” when it is expected to hit stores, potentially in the coming weeks.
