Inspiration can come from anywhere. From the ether, from what you consume, or from the skies; which is where this iteration of the women’s exclusive Air Force 1 drew from.

The titular shoe stays relatively close to its blueprint. This time however, the upper diverges from the usual leather construction and adopts suede from fore to the rear, as well as the die-cut Swooshes on the profiles and the heel tab.

The aesthetic inspiration is evident through the University Blue and white hues reminiscent of the skies. Sail completes the color palette by way of the sole unit, laces, tongue tags, and the aforementioned Swooshes and heel tab. Branding elements arrive through the debossed Nike logos on the tongue tag, heel, and a custom, thematic design of the Swoosh on the insoles.

A release date hasn’t been disclosed by Nike but it’s expected to arrive within the comings months in 2023. There’s a RRP of US$120 currently attached to it.
