Fear of God Brings Back The California Slip-Ons in New Colorways
Dripping with California sunshine.
Since dropping last summer, Fear of God’s The California slip-ons have become a highly sought-after item by both sneakerheads and the wider fashion community.
“A backless slip-on shoe with a clean and sculptural design that strictly emphasizes functionality, with backless construction to slip on and off with ease,” reads the description on Fear of God’s website.
The California is inspired by its namesake state, and sees the LA label combining comfort and style into a pair of backless foam mule. Handcrafted in Italy with patented XL Extralight® Technology, the stylish slip-on sandals guarantees greater comfort and flexibility with a foam that is three times lighter than average. The vent window on the medial side is a subtle but innovative design that provides airflow to the foot.
Originally released in a range of neutral colorways, Fear of God has now restocked the popular sandal in three more sprightly colors: Greige, Canary and Coral. Retailing at US$195 per pair, expect the same clean and smooth silhouette from the all new The California.
