Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey, a player many believe deserves his own signature shoe, is getting a significant nod from New Balance with an upcoming performance and lifestyle collection. This release underscores New Balance’s foresight in signing Maxey, a move made just as he was named the Most Improved Player and earned his first All-Star selection during the 2023-24 season.

Maxey has quickly become a prominent face for New Balance’s basketball line, appearing in commercials alongside established stars like Kawhi Leonard and Jamal Murray, and more recently, rising talent Cooper Flagg. His importance to the brand is further solidified with this new collection.

About the Tyrese Maxey x New Balance Collection

The Tyrese Maxey x New Balance collection features two distinct footwear offerings. Maxey previously debuted the Hesi Low v2, making it a natural choice for his dedicated release. This version boasts an icy mesh upper with a matching light blue midsole, and aquatic teal and purple accents adorn the TPU heel. Unlike most Hesi Low v2s, which display large New Balance logos, Maxey’s pair opts for the smaller, metallic silver “N” logo on both sides.

The other half of the collection showcases the popular New Balance 1906R, a well-known tech runner. It features a white canvas base with white leather overlays and tan detailing. Light blue touches on the midsole, lining, and N-lock logos provide a cohesive link to the Hesi Low v2, while subtle violet accents can be found on the midsole and outsole.

Release Details

The Tyrese Maxey New Balance collection is scheduled to drop on 31 July 2025 via Foot Locker. A release on newbalance.com is expected to occur around the same date. The Hesi Low v2 will retail for US$120, and the 1906R for US$160.
