[Update 30 May 2025] In addition to being the chase card of A Fist of Divine Speed [OP-11], this card is also now meta-relevant; a new variant of the Blue/Purple Luffy deck includes it as a means to bypass blockers on the way to picking up important KO’s as well as disrupt aggressive plays by the opponent.

For the second ONE PIECE Card Game set in succession and fourth time in total, the Manga Rare of a newly-released set features series protagonist Monkey D. Luffy. In the specific case of the card from A Fist of Divine Speed [OP-11], the card depicts Luffy in the Snakeman version of his Gear 4 form.

About Monkey D. Luffy (A Fist of Divine Speed [OP-11] OP11-118)

A Fist of Divine Speed [OP-11] is a set which is partially based on the One Piece manga’s Whole Cake Island Arc which at its climax saw Luffy fight Katakuri; in order to defeat the Big Mom Pirates’ most powerful commander, Luffy had to tap into one of the highest levels of his Devil Fruit’s powers and turn into his Snakeman form. It’s for that reason that the manga panels across the card’s background are taken from that iconic sequence.

As is the case with all Manga Rare cards, this card’s rarity is Secret Rare Special (SEC-SP). Luffy in his Snakeman form is shown preparing to throw a Haki-enhanced punch; this is where the name of the set is taken from. Episode 870 of the One Piece anime is titled “A Fist of Divine Speed – Another Gear 4 Application Activated!”; this is a direct reference to this scene. As is always the case with Manga Rares, this card will be the most coveted of the entire set.

Release Details

This card’s English version will be out in June 2025 along with the rest of A Fist of Divine Speed [OP-11].

A Monkey D. Luffy (A Fist of Divine Speed [OP-11] OP11-118) card of SEC-SP rarity sells for 90,000 JPY (~US$597).
