Newly-released ONE PIECE Card Game expansion set A Fist of Divine Speed [OP-11] is based on the events of the Whole Cake Island and Fish-Man Island Sagas of the One Piece manga. In both of those sagas, Monkey D. Luffy made use of his Gear 2 form in combat on multiple occasions—which is what has been depicted on this card.

About Gear 2 (A Fist of Divine Speed [OP-11] OP11-080)

Coming in the rarity of Rare Parallel (R-P), this card has an eye-catching illustration with an art style that differs greatly from most other ONE PIECE Card Game cards. While not completely done in a line-art style, that influence on this card’s Parallel Art illustration is unmistakable with the pen lines being made clearly visible throughout the illustration. This adds something of a gimmicky novelty factor to the card which gives the card a unique identity.

As has been mentioned, the card has relevance to the events of the manga. In addition, the most recent Luffy Manga Rare card from the Anime 25th Collection [EB-02] also depicts him in his Gear 2 form. For that reason, it could very well be possible that this card built off its predecessor’s hype to emerge as one of the biggest pulls from its own set.

Release Details

In June 2025, this card will be released in English alongside the rest of the cards from A Fist of Divine Speed [OP-11].

The sale price of a Gear 2 (A Fist of Divine Speed [OP-11] OP11-080) card of R-P rarity is 14,000 JPY (~US$93).
