Pokémon Card Gym stores across Japan will hold Sealed Battle tournaments between 14 March and 31 May 2025 in conjunction with the launch of Heat Wave Arena [SV9a] on 14 March. At these tournaments, three promotional Pokémon TCG cards will be made available.

About the Heat Wave Arena Sealed Battle Promotional Cards

The three cards which will be distributed are all promotional reprints of existing cards. Every participant will receive two cards; both are promotional reprints of the Nemona card originally from the three ex Starter Sets.

Tournament winners will be awarded a copy of a promotional reprint of the Ethan’s Ho-oh ex card from Heat Wave Arena [SV9a]. All three cards have the Sealed Battle logo on them.

Release Details

It’s unlikely that any of the Sealed Battle versions of these cards will ever be released in English.

The sale prices of the Heat Wave Arena Sealed Battle promotional cards will only be known once the first copies are sold on the open market.
