As is the case with every ONE PIECE Card Game set, the release of the Anime 25th Collection [EB-02] saw all eyes drawn to the set’s Manga Rare. For the third time in the ONE PIECE Card Game following Awakening of the New Era [OP-05] and Emperors in the New World [OP-09], the Manga Rare of a set depicts series protagonist Monkey D. Luffy.

About Monkey D. Luffy (Anime 25th Collection [EB-02] EB02-061)

This card has the rarity of Secret Rare Special (SEC-SP) just as all other Manga Rare cards do. It depicts Luffy in his Gear 2 form which was revealed during the Enies Lobby Arc, part of the Water 7 Saga of the One Piece manga. As such, the manga panels across the card’s background have been taken from the Enies Lobby Arc.

Since this card is a Manga Rare, it’s by far the biggest pickup of all the cards in the Anime 25th Collection [EB-02]. Additionally, the fact that the card features Luffy is certain to further drive up demand for the card as is invariably the case with any high-rarity card of the protagonist of One Piece—let alone a Manga Rare card.

Release Details

This card will be released in English in May 2025 with the rest of the Anime 25th Collection [EB-02].

The price of a Monkey D. Luffy (Anime 25th Collection [EB-02] EB02-061) card of SEC-SP rarity is 100,000 JPY (~US$645).
