[Pokémon TCG] Larvitar Master Ball Mirror (Prismatic Evolutions [PRE] 047/131) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Since this is an English-exclusive Master Ball Mirror card, it's significantly more expensive than the Tyranitar ex card which depicts Larvitar's final form.

The Larvitar card which was first printed as part of ex Starter Decks: Generations [SVM]—specifically, as the first form of the titular Tyranitar ex card from Generations Start Deck Lugia ex & Tyranitar ex—was among the ex Starter Decks: Generations [SVM] which when translated into English, was added to English Pokémon TCG set Prismatic Evolutions [PRE]. This therefore meant that Larvitar would be one of the cards to receive an English-exclusive Master Ball Mirror version.
About Larvitar Master Ball Mirror (Prismatic Evolutions [PRE] 047/131)
Just as is the case with all other Master Ball Mirror cards, Larvitar’s Master Ball Mirror version is a great deal rarer and therefore more valuable than its original version. The fact that Larvitar only has a Master Ball Mirror iteration in English further raises demand as it’s thus part of the first-ever batch of English-exclusive Master Ball Mirror cards featuring a Master Ball print on the cards’ lower halves as well as a “cracked ice” holofoil pattern.
This card features a cartoonish illustration by Shimaris Yukichi which not only captures Larvitar’s status as just the first of a three-stage evolutionary line, but also seems to hint at the potential that the Rock Skin Pokémon possesses as it moves closer to evolving into pseudo-Legendary Pokémon Tyranitar ex. The illustration on the Pupitar card depicting the middle stage of Tyranitar’s evolutionary line can be seen as the “sequel” to this card’s.
Interestingly, although Tyranitar ex was included in Prismatic Evolutions [PRE], it does not have a Master Ball Mirror version as it is a Pokémon-ex. Therefore, Larvitar and Pupitar’s Master Ball Mirror versions outvalue the card featuring the final form of the evolutionary family.
Release Details
