[Update 9 Jan 2025] The acronym for the Battle Partners Deck Build Box has been confirmed to be [SVN].

On 24 January 2025, the Japanese release date of the much-hyped Pokémon TCG set Battle Partners [SV9], three related products will be set for in-store releases to coincide with its launch.

About the Products Related to Battle Partners [SV9]

The first two of the three products are collection files named “Collection File N” and “Collection File Lillie”; both are named after their titular Trainers. Both collection files include a card file, six Battle Partners [SV9] booster packs, a coin, and a promotional card. The promotional card in Collection File N will be N’s Zorua while in Collection File Lillie, it will be Lillie’s Comfey.

Also to be launched will be the Battle Partners Deck Build Box. It will contain 176 cards including 17 Pokémon cards, 57 Trainer cards, and 6 Special Energy cards selected to maximize gameplay viability. The remaining 96 cards are Basic Energy cards. The Battle Partners Deck Build Box will also include 10 Battle Partners [SV9] booster packs as well as four card dividers.

It had originally been planned for these items to be available for pre-order from the Pokémon Center Online from 23 December 2024 to 23 January 2025; however, intense demand saw all three items sold out before the end of the day on 24 December. There haven’t yet been any mentions of restocks; if there are none, these three products will be available in stores from 24 January.

Collection File N and Collection File Lillie sell for 2,420 JPY (~US$15) each while the Battle Partners Deck Build Box costs 4,200 JPY (~US$27).
