About Sylveon ex (Terastal Festival ex [SV8a] 212/187)

With Terastal Festival ex [SV8a] being a set which places much focus on the Terastallization mechanic introduced in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games, it’s no surprise that a card featuring it would be one of the set’s standouts. This card shows Sylveon ex having Terastallized into the Stellar type—a type only accessible via Terastallization; the illustration’s background is covered in a crystalline motif largely matching Sylveon ex’s color scheme with a floral pattern for a final flourish.

This card is actually a reprint; the original version of the card was the featured card of Stellar Tera Type Starter Set Sylveon ex [SVLN]. However, the OG wasn’t even close to being as rare or valuable as this newer iteration is. In addition, Sylveon is a Fairy-type Pokémon—one of the most popular of all 18 Pokémon types.
