The Nekroz archetype received a slew of new cards in newly-released Yu-Gi-Oh TCG set Terminal World 2. One of the most notable of these cards was Nekroz of Metaltron—a card that in addition to having a Quarter Century Secret Rare version, also has direct canonical connections to other Nekroz cards.

About Nekroz of Metaltron (Terminal World 2 TW02-JP074)

This card is one of 12 cards in Terminal World 2 which can come in Quarter Century Secret Rare. It also features a female character; for that reason, a considerable portion of the fanbase is likely to be drawn to this card. In addition, Nekroz of Metaltron is the first Wyrm-type card to ever be a Ritual Monster card; this adds a layer of novelty to the card.

The character depicted on this card is Nekroz of Sophia wearing armor based on that of Zefra Metaltron; this is the reason why this card is related to the Zefra archetype. This also brings about the scenario in which although this is a Wyrm-type card, the character’s related armor is of a character of the Spellcaster type. This is the only Nekroz Ritual Monster card to have such a difference.

The price of a Quarter Century Secret Rare Nekroz of Metaltron (Terminal World 2 TW02-JP074) card is 8,000 JPY (~US$52).
