In conjunction with the international release of Pokémon TCG set Surging Sparks [SSP] on 8 November 2024, a total of four special store-exclusive promotional cards will be made available. These cards will be distributed at GameStop stores in the US and Canada, Best Buy stores in the US, Toys “R” Us stores in Canada, and EB Games and JB Hi-Fi stores in Australia. It will also be possible to obtain them via the Pokémon Center’s international online store.

About the Surging Sparks Store Promos

The four cards to be distributed are Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Terapagos cards. They are promotional reprints of cards from Surging Sparks [SSP] with the exception of the Sprigatito card. The Sprigatito card is a promotional reprint of a card from Paldea Evolved [PAL].

At each retailer, two of the four cards will be made available. The cards to be distributed are as follows:

• GameStop US/GameStop Canada/EB Games: Sprigatito/Terapagos
• Best Buy/Toys “R” Us/JB Hi-Fi: Fuecoco/Terapagos
• Pokémon Center: Quaxly/Terapagos

US buyers who wish to obtain one of these store promos must first purchase at least US$15 worth of products related to Surging Sparks [SSP] at the store in question. Following that, the card will be handed out for free. Details on how to obtain the cards in Canada and Australia haven’t yet been released.

On the right side of each card will be the logo of the Pokémon Horizons anime series. This is because these cards are intended to promote the anime; all four Pokémon involved are key characters in Pokémon Horizons.

Release Details

The Surging Sparks Store Promos will only be released in English.

The sale prices of the Surging Sparks Store Promos will only be known once the first copies make it to the open market.
