Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Evil HERO Toxic Bubble

In the third season of Yu-Gi-Oh GX, the first Yu-Gi-Oh anime spin-off, the Supreme King was among the main antagonists. He was a past incarnation of protagonist Jaden Yuki and possessed Jaden while Jaden was in the second alternate dimension. The Supreme King was known for using Evil HERO cards which debuted in the real-life Yu-Gi-Oh TCG in 2007 as part of the Gladiator’s Assault set. In the newly-released Supreme Darkness set, the archetype received new additions of which the standout was Evil HERO Toxic Bubble.

About Evil HERO Toxic Bubble (Supreme Darkness SUDA-JP001)

Like all Evil HERO cards, Evil HERO Toxic Bubble is a corrupted version of an Elemental HERO card. In this case, Evil HERO Toxic Bubble is the counterpart of Elemental HERO Neo Bubbleman from Shadow of Infinity. The character depicted not only resembles its Elemental HERO counterpart; the card’s effects which Special Summon itself from the hand and allow the player to draw two cards under certain conditions once it has been Special Summoned are direct references to those of Elemental HERO Neo Bubbleman.

This card is likely to appeal to those who got into the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG by way of Yu-Gi-Oh GX because of the prominence that Evil HERO (and by extension, Elemental HERO) cards had in the anime. Additionally, it’s possible for this card to come in the rarity of Quarter Century Secret Rare.
