One of the two cards awarded as a prize at the Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship 2024, just 15 copies of Elttaes, the MASTER of DUELS are in existence. The card was distributed to players who finished in second, third, and fourth place in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG, Master Duel, and Speed Duel tournaments at this year’s Worlds.

About Elttaes, the MASTER of DUELS (Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship 2024 Prize Cards 2024-EN002)

Should any copies of Elttaes, the MASTER of DUELS ever be sold, their immense value will be primarily driven by their exclusivity. Currently, the only people who own the card are the second-place through fourth-place finishers of the three aforementioned tournaments; Master Duel tournaments are played by teams of three; therefore, nine of the 15 copies owned are in the possession of Master Duel players.

On the topic of Master Duel, if it wasn’t already obvious, this Extra Secret Rare card’s name alludes to the digital version of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG; the words “MASTER” and “DUELS” are even capitalized to further bring the point across. This makes it the first Yu-Gi-Oh TCG card thus far to reference Master Duel.

This card contains two references to Seattle, the city where Worlds was held in 2024. The first and more obvious of the two is the card’s name—”Elttaes” is “Seattle” spelled backwards. The second is the technological design and Cyberse type of the character depicted. This is because Seattle is the location of one of the world’s largest technology center clusters.

Release Details

This card will only ever be released in English.

If any copies of Elttaes, the MASTER of DUELS (Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship 2024 Prize Cards 2024-EN002) will ever be sold, they’re almost certain to sell for massive prices.
