Limited to 32 Pairs: Heineken x The Shoe Surgeon Allows Us to Walk on Beer
The Shoe Surgeon and Heineken come up with limited-edition sneakers featuring soles filled with beer that also come with a removable bottle opener.
Alcoholic beverage brand Heineken has teamed up with popular sneaker virtuoso Dominic Ciambrone, also known as “The Shoe Surgeon,” to drop Heinekicks: limited-edition sneakers that allow you “Walking on Beer.” The Shoe Surgeon is famous for his custom sneakers worn by renowned people such as LeBron James, DJ Khaled and Drake and TSS did not fail us with his latest design.
Inspired by the idiosyncratic green, red and silver of Heineken’s signature colors, the pair features a sleek green lenticular upper with silver and red accents. Built into the tongue is a removable metal bottle opener, a handy feature when it is time to enjoy a bottle of refreshing beer. Elevating the shoes are soles with Heineken Silver, added using a specialized surgical injection method to make Heinekicks the first ever pair of sneakers that allow you to walk on beer. The team also promise a unique on-foot experience as the weight of the sole shifts from back to front and vice versa.
The kicks will be on display at the Limited Edition Vault in 313@Somerset from 10-15 August 2022, with seven of the 32 pairs going up for sale in Singapore at the end of this year.
