[Yu-Gi-Oh TCG] Get Ethereal With Valar, Vaalmonican Hallow Hymn (Infinite Forbidden INFO-JP049)
One of two cards of the Vaalmonica archetype introduced in Infinite Forbidden.
Initially, the introduction of the Valar, Vaalmonican Hallow Hymn card to Infinite Forbidden, the latest Core Booster of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG, went somewhat under the radar. However, less than a month since the set’s release, this card has so far turned out to be one of its most sought-after cards.
Let’s get the obvious out of the way first—it’s possible for this card to be a Quarter Century Secret Rare, and that alone jacks up its value. On top of that, it depicts a female character, so due to demographic reasons, there’s a second reason for the card’s value to rise. Additionally, the illustration has a cosmic vibe that fits with those of many of the other cards of the Vaalmonica archetype.
This card is an upgraded Link Monster version of the Selettrice Vaalmonica card from Legacy of Destruction. That card, along with the other Vaalmonica cards, have since had their in-universe stories more clearly formed via the narratives in the card illustrations. More than likely, other Vaalmonica cards in future sets will do the same for Valar, Vaalmonican Hallow Hymn and shed more light on its position in the Yu-Gi-Oh canon.
This card hasn’t yet been released in English.
A Valar, Vaalmonican Hallow Hymn (Infinite Forbidden INFO-JP049) has a price of 5,400 JPY (~US$35).
