The turnaround of Crocs and their clogs is so drastic Netflix could produce a documentary of its ascent. It went from being on the feet of chefs and healthcare workers, to being on the feet of celebrities and icons; from being anti-fashion to being a fashion staple; from being a laughing stock to actually being — well, really good stock. Down the road, Crocs will rise to Don Corleone status for being the godfather to all the most recognizable clogs that we see today like Salehe Bembury’s, and the catalyst to the public’s acceptance of “ugly” footwear — the Yeezy Foam RNNR.

This year, we see independent Indiana-based streetwear label Kitowares put some skin (or rather, bones) in the game with their Fossil-X Jag Runner. There’s been some interesting silhouettes but none as sinister and jumping as this sculpted jaguar’s skull. Made from the brand’s trademarked “Fossil-X” foam technology, it claims to be made from a stronger material that its predecessors and rumor has it that it’s even made in the same factory as the YEEZYs.
