Kevin Durant teams up with Nike Basketball to unleash the KD 17, a pair that features a striking color palette of White, Black, and Game Royal, echoing the legendary Air Penny line and paying homage to the Orlando Magic.

The shoe’s design language draws inspiration from iconic Nike elements. Wavy lines reminiscent of the Air Max Plus’s veins add depth and texture, while the Cushlon midsole mirrors the Air Talaria’s contours for a perfect blend of style and function.

Subtle nods to Durant are present with the “KD” branding on the tongue and forefoot. Performance is enhanced via Zoom cushioning in the forefoot, which delivers a comfortable and responsive feel—all this while a TPU shank ensures stability. Finally, the Air Zoom-cushioned rubber outsole offers durability both on and off the court.

Dropping on 24 May 2024, the Nike KD 17 “Penny” will be available on Nike.com and at select retailers. They come in men’s sizing at an RRP of US$150.
