New York City’s vibrant street basketball scene is legendary. A big part of it is the annual NY vs NY basketball tournament which celebrates the athleticism and passion that’s always on display in NYC’s outdoor courts. In Summer 2024, the Nike Ja 1 “NY vs NY” pays homage to the famed tournament.

The shoe rocks a cool Blue base with accents of Hyper Pink, Aquarius Blue, and Black. Bold Hyper Pink TPU Swoosh logos demand attention, while mismatched tongue labels and “12” heel details add a playful touch. The light Blue midsole and gradient outsole round off the look, perfect for stepping onto the court or turning heads on the street.

Finishing touches include the “NY vs NY” logo on the heel and a trophy graphic on the insole, paying homage to the fierce competition and the players’ relentless drive.

The Nike Ja 1 “NY vs NY” drops in men’s sizing on 1 June 2024. It comes at an RRP of US$130 and will be available at Nike brick-and-click stores.
