For their freshman effort, Clarks Originals and Engineered Garments produce three variations of the Desert Khan EG, uniformly dressing its premium suede leather upper in “Black”, “Brown”, and “Sand”.

Several unique elements elevate the pairs. First is the asymmetrical closure system with D-rings on the left side and blind eyelets on the right. Moreover, as one can expect from the EG’s Daiki Suzuki, the most eye-catching feature is the modular suede kilties addressed in matching tones, with the heels imbedded with a nylon pull tab.

Completing the package is an upgraded EVA Vibram Morflex sole, replacing the Clarks hallmark crepe sole.

The Engineered Garments x Clarks Originals Desert Khan EG pack is set for release on 15 March via Nepenthes New York and select retailers worldwide. Each pair will bear a price tag of US$199. Enjoy a look at the campaign images in the gallery above!
