Here’s a novel collaboration to look forward to: Italian fashion label Missoni and performance sandal brand Suicoke are joining forces to produce four new pairs of slides and sandals, based off Suicoke’s existing “Moto” and “Depa” silhouettes. Suicoke has had no small amount of collaborations this summer season, most notably including American durable clothing brand Carhartt and Japanese streetwear label NEIGHBORHOOD. Despite this, Suicoke’s newest collab looks to be the most exciting one yet.

Pictured in official images with live iguanas and parrots, the synergy between the two creative influences shines over the “Moto” double-strap slide and “Depa” performance hiking sandal.

Missoni’s Italian patterned fabrics coat every surface of the four designs. Zigzag stripes feature on the straps, while colourful flame patterns are ablaze across the four colourways’ uppers and footbeds. The varying patterns and textures within each slide and sandal blend together to create an incredibly vibrant, natural design. The high-quality build and materials look to be perfectly in-line with Suicoke’s reputation for creating comfortable, performance-oriented footwear.

The four designs comprise of a darker and lighter colourway, each available in “Moto” slide and “Depa” sandal format. Both colourways of the “Moto” double-strap slide are currently retailing for US$350, while the two “Depa” hiking-style sandals are going for US$330 on SSENSE. The collaboration will officially release on 22 July online at Missoni and Suicoke’s online stores.
