Chicago’s very own Joe Freshgoods has had a fecund partnership with New Balance, attested to by their expansive collaborative Joe Freshgoods x New Balance portfolio. After teasing his upcoming New Balance 1000, bringing back the late ’90s icon, Sole Retriever now confirms he is tackling the New Balance MADE in USA 990v6.

This collaboration follows their prior successes, like the “No Emotions Are Emotions,” “Outside Clothes,” and “Stuntman” campaigns, praised for their innovative designs and odes to his Chicago roots. The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance MADE in USA 990v6 promises to uphold this tradition, offering a fresh take on the silhouette.

Specific design elements remain scant but expect another earth-toned release, a direction JFG seems to be favoring. Moreover, the pair is expected to be released sometime in 2024 via his website, his Every Now and Then storefront, and select online and in-store retailers. Stay tuned for more details and images in the coming weeks!
