The Nike Giannis Immortality 3 “All-Star” reflects the rags-to-riches life story of Giannis Antetokounmpo. As a child, Giannis had to share sneakers with his brothers, one of whom was present-day Milwaukee Bucks teammate Thanasis.

When Giannis made his third career NBA All-Star appearance in 2019, he showed that he didn’t forget his roots when he wore a pair of Red/White Kobe 4s bearing handwriting reading “Thanasis, thanks for sharing”. Five years later, the now-future Hall of Famer will be releasing a call-back to those sneakers under his own signature line.

Just like the original Kobe 4s, the Nike Giannis Immortality 3 “All-Star” has a Red/White color scheme. These shoes are inversely colored; almost every element except the laces alternates red and white.

One key difference between these shoes and the 2019 iteration is the location of the words “Thanks for sharing”—split across both heel tabs rather than on the toes. Like the rest of the “All-Star” collection, these shoes will be released shortly before the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend.

Although a price hasn’t been finalized yet, the Nike Giannis Immortality 3 “All-Star” is slated to drop on 16 February 2024.
