adidas Originals and The Simpsons have been cooking in recent weeks, having just released a collection that pays tribute to some of the show’s iconographies, in addition to “The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show” Rivalry and Pro Model 80. Quickly succeeding it is another reiteration of the Rivalry 86 Low, inspired by the beloved “Treehouse of Horror” Halloween episode.

The unique rendition of the silhouette features a fusion of materials. Bart Simpson’s mischievous spirit materializes through the premium leather upper, with the distressed textile paying homage to his sinister twin, Hugo Simpson. Scar-inspired embroidery and custom tongue labels add to its aesthetic, with a bespoke shoebox housing the pair.

The Simpsons x adidas Rivalry 86 Low “Treehouse of Horror” is scheduled for release on 25 October with an RRP of US$130. Keep a lookout!
