Adidas released their first UltraBOOST 1.0 silhouette in 2015, leaving a permanent mark on the sneaker industry. Since then, caged and uncaged variations have made their way across storefronts in a huge selection of colours. Now, adidas is taking a break from new colours to pay homage to one of UltraBOOST’s most revolutionary colourways, the “Triple White”.
Named “Cloud White”, this UltraBOOST DNA 5.0 exclusively features shades of white that make for an incredibly clean, gleaming colourway. The white primeknit upper is contained within a matching three stripes cage and heel counter in different white shades. This sits atop a standard full-length BOOST technology sole unit, which not only makes for an incredibly comfortable fit, but also creates a difference in texture that breaks up the uniformity of the design. Finally, a black rubber outsole provides traction and a colour contrast to the otherwise all-white shoe.
The UltraBOOST DNA 5.0 “Cloud White” will be dropping in both mens and womens sizes. It will be released on adidas’ online store and select retailers on 16 June, 7:00AM GMT for a retail price of US$190 USD. More details below.
