The Nike Air Humara “Buff Gold” Scheduled for an Autumn Release
Designed for the great outdoors, perfect for the concrete jungle.
Peter Fogg created the Nike Air Humara in 1997 as an outdoor shoe. It eventually outgrew its intended purpose and evolved into a fashion-forward choice in the lifestyle space—a small courtesy to the recent gorpcore trend.
Its repute was further elevated with collaborators like Jacquemus taking on the pair, and Nike’s been riding on its inertia with more inline releases since. The latest being the “Buff Gold” colorway, echoing the falling leaves of autumn.
The shoes display a vibrant contrast with its blend of Buff Gold and Bronzine. Its hallmarks are a mainstay such as the unique textile-wrapped midsoles, and superior mesh and leather construction. The decorative stitching and the red accents over the lace loops are some notable embellishments too. Dual draw tabs on the tongues and heels, as well as a robust Gum rubber outsole serve as the final touches.
They’re scheduled for a 27 October release date with an RRP of US$160. Find them on Nike’s brick-and-click stores then.
