Malbon Golf and New Balance Introduce the New “Heritage” Silhouette
Redesigning the skate shoe aesthetic for the putting green.
Malbon Golf and New Balance Golf have rejuvenated their partnership with the introduction of the Heritage, a hitherto unseen model. The silhouette draws influence from NB’s running and skating entries, retrofitting them for the putting green.
Some inspiration for the pair can be surmised to be the Rone x New Balance Numeric Tiago Lemos 1010 and the 990v3. The latter may have influenced the placement of the overlays creating a familiar, small pockets of mesh; while adopting the sole unit of the former.
As far as its performance specs, the technology incorporated is designed to improve performance on the golf course, including FastTwist 3.0 detachable spikes, waterproof microfiber leather, a breathable mesh upper, an abrasion-resistant NDurance outsole, and CUSH+ material on the insole.
The model is currently available on Malbon Golf’s website. They’re offered in Men’s sizes 5–13 in White/Green, Blue, Iguana, and Sage. The pairs are listed as US$170.
