The Nike Air More Uptempo Joins the “Everything You Need” Collection
Alongside the Air Max 1.
Shortly after announcing the Nike Air Max 1 “Everything You Need”, the Beaverton-based brand is quickly adding another silhouette to the collection. Cue the resurging Air More Uptempo.
This latest offering sees the Nike Air More Uptempo dressed in a similar theme to its Air Max 1 counterpart. Creamy off-white leather takes on most of the upper’s base and mesh tongue. Staying away from blue, though, the Uptempo sees accents of green hitting off the branding spots on the tongue, toe box, and insole.
The highlight of the sneaker comes in the form of its iconic “AIR” lettering, which comes covered in the same spray-painted graphic as the Air Max 1. A similar shade of pink is then found in the visible air unit beneath, while the same “Everything you need is already inside” text motif is written inside the tongue.
