Pebbled Leather Adorn the Swooshes of This Nike Air Force 1 Low
It's "aged" aesthetic an embrace of its long history.
Rarely does a model exhibit a longevity as well as the Nike Air Force 1 Low. It was released in 1983 and continues to solicit fanfare four decades on. For its latest reimagining, it embodies its long history with the integration of an “aged” midsole.
It doesn’t deviate too much from Bruce Kilgore’s original vision of the silhouette, with the classic white leather base a mainstay. It has been retrofitted however with larger profile Swooshes highlighted by its pebbled leather make in a striking scarlet. The color further accentuates the sockliner, the tip of the tongue, before flourishing underfoot on the outsole. It also highlights all the branding elements but one on the lateral heel.
There’s no release date yet but they’re expected to arrive within the year. Stay tuned, more details should emerge within the coming months.
