Revealed during the Japanese Champions League 2023 Niigata Livestream, the Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Scarlet & Violet ex Start Deck and Omakase ex Start Deck both drop tomorrow on Pokémon Center Japan.

As its name would imply, this Start Deck is a great beginner’s introduction to the large mystical world of Pokémon TCG. Eight different Start Deck versions separated into types will be available for purchase individually. These decks feature Decidueye, Victini, Greninja, Miraidon, Clefable, Koraidon, Houndoom and Melmetal on the cover. Each deck will retail at 550 JPY (~$US3.82).

Meanwhile, the Omakase (random) ex Start Deck will feature two additional secret decks, namely featuring Dragonite ex and Greedent ex. While these will be sold separately as regular ex Start Decks  at a later date, the only way to obtain them currently is through the Omakase ex Start Deck. The Omakase version will also retail at 550 JPY (~$US3.82).
