Create Your Own 1-of-1 Maybe Tomorrow x Saucony Jazz Court DIY
A chance to become the sneaker customizer, you've at least once, thought of being.
Mark Nguyen’s Maybe Tomorrow dove into the footwear realm with an assist from Saucony at the tail-end of 2022. Aesop’s fable, “The Tortoise and the Hare”, served as the inspiration in their freshman effort. For this followup, the duo looks to you for the ether to draw inspiration from.
The Maybe Tomorrow x Saucony Jazz Court DIY offers all the tools required to build your very own 1-of-1 colorway, harkening back to founder Mark Nguyen’s roots in creating his own sneakers.
Expounding on the concept, Nguyen said on Instragram, “Growing up, I was always customizing my shoes to stand apart from the rest and making them uniquely my own. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would grow up to actually be designing my own shoes. And if I can do it, you can too!”
The shoes, made as a blank canvas, come with a variety of pens and accessories, allowing you to either sketch or add pins and trinkets wherever you so desire. Moreover, the box contains red, blue, and green strips that can be laid underneath the Jazz Stripes at the side. Or, if you’re a minimalist, leave it as it is.
The pair is expected to drop on Maybe Tomorrow’s website on 7 July.
