New Balance Ready to Release MADE in USA Season 3 Collection
Athletic Americana fashion at its finest.
The first of three waves of the MADE in USA Season 3 collection is upon us, courtesy of New Balance and their MiUSA Creative Director, Teddy Santis.
While the first two seasons featured silhouettes particularly from the 990 family, Season 3 boasts new interpolations of the 996 and 998, and reimaginations of the 990v4 and 990v6. The offering consists of the vibrant touches, the vintage aesthetic, and the premium materials that the duo’s repertoire and reputation has become synonymous with.
We’ve covered the 990v6 “Magenta Pop” and “Cream/Beige” colorways in previous articles but it’s now come to light that they’re actually part of the titular line. In addition to them is one with a “Limestone” shade, typically Aimé Leon Dore.
A striking purple 990v4 and 998 will also be part of the fray, with similarly colored ones of the 990v6 and 996 arriving in the subsequent release. Following that, in the third wave, will be a series of 990v4, 990v6, and 996 dressed in schemes of yellow, green, and white.
The shoes in the MiUSA collection will be accompanied by an array of hoodies, sweatpants, tracksuits, t-shirts, tank tops, and crew necks.
There’s no word on when the second and third wave will drop but the first will arrive on 16 June. The price tag for the shoes will range from US$190 to US$210, while the apparel will cost between US$65 to US$210.
