The Nike Air Jordan 2 “Wings” Pays Tribute to Howard “H” White, One of Their Most Eminent Executives
In honor of one of the hands that pulled Michael Jordan into the Swoosh's roster.
The design of the titular pair honors Jordan Brand Vice President and Believe To Achieve’s founder, Howard “H” White (most recently played by Chris Tucker in this year’s AIR).
They arrive in a “White/Malachite/Black” makeup, with a construction faithful to Peter Moore, Tinker Hatfield, and Bruce Kilgore’s blueprint. An “H” imprint can be seen through the transparent heel piece with proximate green accents. Working in tandem to finish the design are the photorealistic wings imprinted on the lateral and medial panels, illuminating the commemorative motifs.
They’re scheduled to be released on 10 June on SNKRS with a price tag of US$210. Look out for them then if you’re looking to snag a pair!
