Calvin Klein has long tapped into the world of K-Pop to promote their brand. Joining the likes of BLACKPINK’s Jennie and LE SSERAFIM’s Kazuha, it was announced early this month that BTS’ Jungkook was the fashion label’s latest global ambassador. Needless to say, news of his appointment broke the internet.

Since BTS went on hiatus to fulfill their mandatory military duties, they have embarked on their own ventures and partnerships. In November last year, Jungkook performed “Dreamers” at the FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony at Qatar, making him the first South Korean to perform at the global spectacle.

Recently, new Calvin Klein SS23 campaign imagery surfaced, with Jungkook showing off a variety of apparel in the label’s signature greyscale photoshoot. “I have been a fan of Calvin Klein for a long time and I’m thrilled to be their newest global ambassador,” said Jungkook in a press release.

Dressed mainly in Calvin Klein’s staple logo tees and jeans, Jungkook never fails to charm both ARMYs and fashion heads alike. While relatively tame in nature compared to previous photoshoots, he, as Calvin Klein themselves would describe it, is “the icon in iconic tees”.
