K9-666 “Jacks” is a card which, though it may not seem apparent on the surface, does have canonical continuity with several other cards. However, when this card’s illustration is juxtaposed alongside those of other cards’ illustrations, the narrative element in play becomes obvious.

K9-666 “Jacks” is the combined Xyz fusion of K9-66a Jokul and K9-66b Lantern; the latter two were cards featured in Deck-Build Pack: Justice Hunters. K9-EW Special Release Experiment, another card from Deck-Build Pack: Justice Hunters, has an illustration that depicts the fusion of K9-66a Jokul and K9-66b Lantern into K9-666 “Jacks”. K9-04 Noroi, another card from Doom of Dimensions, can also be seen in the illustration’s background.

This is one of the cards in Doom of Dimensions to have a version in Prismatic Secret Rare, the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s highest rarity. In addition, the narrative portion of the card’s illustration may play a role in driving up the card’s popularity, especially among those who already own one or more of the cards of the other characters being shown.

This card’s English version will be out on 25 September 2025, along with the rest of Doom of Dimensions.
