A striking rendition of the retro runner makes its appearance.
It’s remarkable to think that the New Balance 860v2 has been a significant player in the “tech runner” trend for over five years, predating many of the styles we see today. This model provided the foundation for two other popular New Balance silhouettes, the 1906R and 2002R, and its recent journey has been closely intertwined with both. Now, the New Balance 860v2 appears in a striking “Silver/Red” rendition in 2025.
About the New Balance 860v2 “Silver/Red”
The design features an “aged” look with darkened off-white soles, a popular trend, while the upper is dominated by a Y2K-inspired silver mesh and leather construction. To break up the monochromatic silver, vibrant fire red accents are strategically placed on the branding elements, including the outlined “N” logo on the side and the ABZORB cushioning in the heel.
Release Details
The New Balance 860v2 “Silver/Red” has already started to appear on New Balance websites internationally, with a release in the United States anticipated soon. Expect a retail price of around US$150.
