Just like the rest of the six ONE PIECE Card Game Starter Decks which were recently released, the Black Marshall D. Teach Starter Deck [ST-27] contains two Super Rare (SR) cards. Of the two, the more coveted is the Character card depicting the Starter Deck’s titular character.

About Marshall D. Teach (Black Marshall D. Teach Starter Deck [ST-27] ST27-005)

Unlike many of the other standout cards across the six Starter Decks, this card doesn’t have any particular references to the canonical material of the One Piece franchise. Despite this fact, this card might nevertheless see a spike in interest due to the recently-issued special reprint of the Marshall D. Teach card from Emperors in the New World [OP-09].

The card’s illustration depicts Teach in combat, unleashing the power of his Devil Fruit which is known for its ability to negate the powers of opposing Devil Fruit users. It’s a striking visual that’s likely to draw further demand.

Release Details

The Japanese version of this card will be released on 28 June 2025 alongside the rest of the Black Marshall D. Teach Starter Deck [ST-27].

Buying a copy of a Marshall D. Teach (Black Marshall D. Teach Starter Deck [ST-27] ST27-005) card doesn’t cost much at just 630 JPY (~US$4.35).
