Even with his ongoing work with New Balance and PUMA, Salehe Bembury’s highly popular Crocs Pollex Pod Collection hadn’t seen any new releases throughout 2025. However, this silence has now been broken. A recent Instagram post offers a first look at the next installment in his “Art Friends Thumbs Up Good Job” series.

Beginning in February of the previous year, Bembury initiated this project by collaborating with close artist and designer friends to create limited editions of his Crocs Pollex Clogs. The inaugural collaboration was with Futura, resulting in a highly exclusive run of 1,000 pairs. This was followed by another limited release of 1,000 Pollex Clogs designed with Jonas Wood. The next artist to join the series is Nina Chanel Abney.

About the Salehe Bembury x Nina Chanel Abney x Crocs Pollex Clog

Bembury’s recent Instagram post showcases a black-and-white checkerboard version of the Pollex Clog featuring NCA branding. Adding to the anticipation, American painter Kenny Scharf, known for his prominence in the 1980s, was pictured holding a pair of the Futura x Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog, possibly suggesting a future collaboration.

Release Details

The Salehe Bembury x Nina Chanel Abney x Crocs Pollex Clog is scheduled to launch on 30 April 2025, exclusively through Salehe’s Be A Spunge website. Similar to the previous releases, this collaboration will be limited to just 1,000 pairs.
