Recently, several buyers on the Pokémon Center’s international online stores have reported discovering a method which has now become known as the “cart trick” to verify the availability of any item in the store including Pokémon TCG items.

The “cart trick” only works when a particular item is seemingly listed as “unavailable”. These are the steps of the “cart trick”:

1. Go to the link for the product appearing to be unavailable.
2. Click on your Pokémon Center cart.
3. Click on “Back” to return to the product page.
4. The item in question might now be shown to be in stock despite previously having appeared to have been unavailable.
5. Add the item to your cart.

It isn’t yet known if the “cart trick” is applicable to the Japanese online store as well; it has thus far only been proven to work on the international stores.
