Riding the wave of golf’s increasing popularity, highlighted by Rory McIlroy’s remarkable 2025 Masters victory and career Grand Slam achieved after 14 years (and only the fourth sudden-death playoff in that span), New Balance introduces two new iterations of the 550 Golf shoe.
About the New Balance 550 Golf Pack
Building on their initial release from around this time last year, one version maintains a vintage-inspired look with aged detailing and pays homage to the Masters’ “Green Jacket” through leather accents and a collar detail. The second option presents a timeless all-white design, a familiar choice in golf footwear.
Distinguishing itself from brands that adapt existing shoes with spikes, New Balance has engineered a spike-less outsole for the 550 Golf, utilizing N-Durance rubber to ensure reliable traction. Additionally, both shoes are made with fully waterproof materials, a key feature reflecting the “New Balance Golf” promise indicated on the tongue.

The two new New Balance 550 Golf models are currently on sale at NewBalance.com, each priced at US$140.
