Umbreon ex isn’t the headliner of sixth-generation Pokémon TCG set Awakening Psychic King [XY10]—that card would be the Ultra Rare (UR) version of the Mega Alakazam ex card who is the set’s titular Psychic King. However, such is the popularity of the Dark-type Eeveelution that demand for it and thus its price tag sits echelons above that of Mega Alakazam ex or any other card in the set.

About Umbreon ex (Awakening Psychic King [XY10] 082/078)

This Super Rare (SR) card featuring Umbreon in its Pokémon-ex form comes with a stunning Full Art illustration depicting Umbreon ex in front of a background with a cosmic aesthetic that provides a striking contrast with Umbreon’s body markings which are fully lit up. Adding to this effect is the gold outline that surrounds Umbreon ex.

This same illustration also highlights the immense power of Umbreon ex; its paws and tail have been drawn to extend beyond the card’s borders. This therefore implies that, in a bit of fourth-wall breaking, the card itself isn’t able to contain the full power of Umbreon ex.
