20th Anniversary Legendary Dragons was a four-card set distributed in July 2018 to only those who placed a pre-order from 21 May to 21 June via a serial code from the July 2018 issue of shōnen animanga magazine V Jump. One of the four cards in it was Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment.

Due to its exclusivity and short time period in circulation, it’s no surprise that many collectors are interested in this card. Additionally, it has a rarity of Ultra Rare and its English version was also one of the cover cards of Battles of Legend: Armageddon. However, despite all of this, its actual market value remains remarkably low.

Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment also has a degree of gameplay viability because if it was Special Summoned using only monsters that were originally Dragons, the player can reveal and banish three cards: one from he player’s deck, one from the top of the opponent’s deck, and one from the extra deck. This can be done once per turn. It allows the player to banish another Dragon Ruler card for setups while also giving the player information on what the opponent might be planning based on the two banished cards.

A copy of a Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment (20th Anniversary Legendary Dragons VP18-JP001) sells for the highly affordable price of 260 JPY (~US$1.77).
