[Update 7 Apr 2025] More images of the .SWOOSH x Nike Air Max 1 Low Poly “Big Head Mode” have emerged, showcasing a 3D rendering of the pair hovering, which is more in line with the .SWOOSH concept.

Nike’s .SWOOSH is releasing the Air Max 1 “Big Head Mode”, a design that pays homage to the classic Nintendo 64 game, GoldenEye 007.

This release builds upon Nike’s Low Poly series, which has previously drawn inspiration from retro gaming with designs themed around Tomb Raider and Donkey Kong. Before the physical sneaker’s availability, the design was accessible to players within the Fortnite game.

About the .SWOOSH x Nike Air Max 1 Low Poly “Big Head Mode”

The sneaker showcases a black and white base, evoking the image of James Bond’s tuxedo. A pixelated Swoosh contributes a distinct, blocky aesthetic, while gold accents reference the Golden Gun from the game. The “Big Head Mode” moniker directly references the well-known cheat code within GoldenEye 007.

Release Details

The .SWOOSH x Nike Air Max 1 Low Poly “Big Head Mode” is scheduled for pre-order on 7 April through the Nike SNKRS platform, with a retail price of US$160. Customers should anticipate a shipping timeframe of up to four months following their order.
