Following the announcement that Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis would be one of the cards which would have a reprint in upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh TCG set Quarter Century Stampede, the price of the original version from Series 6 Core Booster Raging Battle dropped sharply. Nevertheless, its value remains fairly high and is still a solid pickup for collectors.

About Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis (Raging Battle RGBT-EN006)

Coming in the rarity of Super Rare, this card primarily appeals to those who got into Yu-Gi-Oh via spin-off anime series Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s as it’s best known as a card used by Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s character Aki Izayoi. The English version of this card is significantly more valuable than its Japanese counterpart as in Japanese, it has only ever been released in the rarity of Common.

A further point adding to this card’s value is its status as a card that’s been banned from tournament play. Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis has been prohibited from use in a tournament deck since April 2018 in Japan and Asia-Pacific and since May 2018 elsewhere. This adds another layer of mystique to the card and gives an additional boost to its desirability.
