[Update 25 Mar 2025] This card has now been confirmed to be part of GameStop promotional campaigns in the US and Canada as well as a similar EB Games campaign in Australia. Any customer who spends at least US$15, CA$15 (~US$10), or A$15 (~US$9.40) (depending on the country) on Pokémon TCG products will have the card thrown in for free. The GameStop version will also have the GameStop logo on its left side; that card’s image is in our gallery.

In conjunction with the upcoming release of Journey Together [JTG], card shops in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines will begin distributing a promotional version of Hop’s Snorlax card with a set of requirements. The campaign starts on 28 March 2025, the launch day of Journey Together [JTG], and will continue until the promotional cards are all distributed out or a date yet to be announced.

To receive the card, one must make a minimum purchase of either S$25 (~US$19), 80 MYR (~US$18), or 1,030 PHP (~US$18) of Pokémon TCG products in the card shop. Upon the purchase, the promotional Hop’s Snorlax card will be given to the customer free of charge.

This promotional Hop’s Snorlax card is so significant because of the placement of the Journey Together [JTG] logo on the card’s left side. If you are someone staying in those mentioned countries distributing these promotional cards, be sure to mark your calendar on this important date.
