Shōnen animanga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump is the magazine in which the One Piece manga has been serialized since its debut in 1997; there are thus links between the ONE PIECE Card Game and Weekly Shōnen Jump as well as all of its sister publications including V Jump.

The March 2025 issue of V Jump, which will start being distributed on 21 February 2025, will come bundled with a new promotional ONE PIECE Card Game card that depicts Shirahoshi.

About Shirahoshi (Promotional Cards P-091)

Since this is a promotional card that comes with a specific issue of V Jump, it inherently carries a level of appeal because of its exclusivity; it will only be in circulation for as long as the March 2025 V Jump issue is. In addition, this card of course takes advantage the usual “female character value boost”; the illustrator also made it rather evident that this ought to be emphasized as the Mermaid Princess is shown emerging from the water with hardly anything on.

Interestingly, although the official ONE PIECE Card Game website states that gameplay-wise, this Shirahoshi card is intended to work in tandem with certain cards from upcoming set A Fist of Divine Speed [OP-11], several players have stated that this is unlikely to be the case given what is so far known about that set. Nevertheless, the card remains highly appealing for collectors.

Release Details

It isn’t yet known if this card will ever be released in English; additionally, its sale price will only be known when the first copies make it to the open market. Stay tuned for more information on that.
