From 24 January 2025, all participants of Pokémon TCG Gym tournaments across Japan will receive a copy of the 7-card Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 9. Each of the seven cards will have the Pokémon Card Gym logo on its right side.

Three of the seven cards are new cards. The new cards are Hop’s Pincurchin ex, Drifloon, and Drifblim. The remaining four cards are promotional reprints of Tatsugiri, Buddy-Buddy Poffin, Arven, and Pokémon Center Lady. Tatsugiri is originally from Mask of Change [SV6]; Buddy-Buddy Poffin from Wild Force [SV5K]; and Arven from Violet ex [SV1V].

Although the Pokémon Center Lady card will be a reprint, it will be one which will make the card legal in tournament play as it will have the “I” regulation mark. Prior to this upcoming release, Pokémon Center Lady had been rotated out of tournament play as its most recent iteration from the Metal Duraludon V Deck [SD] had the “D” regulation mark.

The most desired card from Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 9 will likely be Hop’s Pincurchin ex.
