Following the popular “Black Cat” makeover of the New Balance 9060, New Balance is applying the same dark aesthetic to the 1000 model in Spring 2025, resulting in the New Balance 1000 “Black Cat”. The shoe’s colorway also goes by the moniker “Triple Black”.

About the New Balance 1000 “Black Cat” / “Triple Black”

The New Balance 1000 “Black Cat”, which debuted earlier in 2024, features some notable material updates. True to the “Black Cat” theme, the shoe is predominantly black, with subtle dark grey accents on the midsole and the “N” logo.

A sliver of near-reflective white branding appears on the tongue. Unlike earlier versions that used suede on the mudguard, this release utilizes suede across the entire upper, a feature previously seen only on the Kith collaboration from October 2024.

The New Balance 1000 “Black Cat” is expected to release this spring for US$150.
